Open position for Post-doctoral Researcher in Terahertz Opto – Electronics/Spintronics
We are seeking a skillful post-doc researcher to join the “Dynamics of complex nano-systems” group at the Complex Matter Department, Jozef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia (http://www-f7.ijs.si). The work will be focused on the ultrafast optical and voltage control of interfacial magnetism.
A candidate is required to have a doctoral degree in physics, preferably in a field such as ultrafast optoelectronics, ultrafast (magneto)-optical spectroscopy, solid-state physics, or similar, and excellent experimental skills are expected. Previous experience with ultrafast laser techniques, terahertz optics, and electronic measurements is highly welcomed. Additional experience with lithographic techniques would also be an advantage.
The contract will be for 2 years, possibly extending to three years, preferably starting in the first half of the year 2021.
Please contact Dr. Tomaz Mertelj (firstname.lastname@example.org) for further information about the position and the research project.
