We are seeking for a skillful post-doc researcher to join the “Dynamics of complex nano-systems” group at Complex Matter department, Jozef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana, Slovenia (http://www-f7.ijs.si). The work will be focused on the ultrafast optical and voltage control of interfacial magnetism.
A candidate is required to have a doctoral degree in physics, preferably in a field such as ultrafast opto-electronics, ultrafast (magneto)-optical spectroscopy, solid-state physics or similar and excellent experimental skills are expected. Previous experience with ultrafast laser techniques, terahertz optics and electronic measurements is highly welcomed. Additional experience with lithographic techniques would also be an advantage.
The contract will be for 2 years with a possibility for extension to three years, preferably starting in the first half of year 2021.
